The
port of Paranagua is located in the coast of Paraná
State, south margin of the bay which has the same name. Offers
access by BR-277 that links Paranaguá to Curitiba and
connects BR-116 by the highways PR-406, PR-410 and PR-411.
Offers
three channel access: north, south and the main, Galheta Channel,
located to 15 miles of the bay, with 28,5Km long, width 150
to 200 meters and draught of 12 meters.
The
port offers a commercial wharf and an inflammable wharf with
two mooring piers.
The
port offers Catalini's Terminals for liquid granaries movement
which operates with 4 dolphins, being 2 of mooring and 2 of
lashing, attended by 36 tanks and 65.266 m³. The Dibal’s
Terminals for the use of vegetable oil has 7 tanks and 17.000
m³. The Becker Terminal for the use of acids, offers
2 tanks and 10.000 m³.
The
Paraná State is the largest grains producer of the
country and, in reason of it, the port of Paranaguá
is one of the largest Brasilian Flow exporter and the most
important State's Importer.
